The new edition of the two-day Advanced Technology Days (14) at the Plaza Event Center in Zagreb brought together more than 550 IT experts who could choose between 30 lectures and a round table on GDPR but also to enjoy each other’s conversation.
The conference is organized by the Croatian IT community, represented by a 12-member program committee, with leading topics including Microsoft Technology, Artificial Intelligence, IoT and Blockchain.
The members of the program committee were Domagoj Pavlešić and Tomislav Tipurić. They commented on the biggest novelties presented during the conference at Microsoft Connect and announced a rich ATD content divided into five new program directions (DevOps, Hybrid, Data, Business IT and Trends), which enable participants to learn more about what they are directly involved in, but also to get out of the box and adopt some new knowledge.
The conference included up to 64 lecturers, and almost 30% of them are foreign experts. Top experts, many of whom are Microsoft MVPs, except Croatia, come from countries in the wider region: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Serbia, Poland, and Romania.
At the conference, a series of DevOps related topics will be heard: Toni Frankola (Microsoft MVP for SharePoint) explained how to use Azure DevOps to develop their own products, Ognjen Bajić (Microsoft MVP for Development Technologies) presented Azure DevOps – and still on steroids, and Ana Roje Ivancic (Microsoft MVP for Development Technologies) had a lecture on Professional Scrum and DevOps: Hand in Hand to Regular Delivery. Also, don’t forget Nedim Sadović who had two lectures, one about „Where do we begin with Office 365 security and compliance?“ and the other about „Hyper-V Security with Shielded VM“.
