Client Hyper-V is the name for the virtualization technology that was introduced in Windows 8. Client Hyper-V is an optional feature that can be installed through Programs and Features in the Control Panel.
The following prerequisites are required to successfully run Client Hyper-V on Windows 8.1:
-Windows 8 Pro or Enterprise 64 bit Operating System
-64-bit processor with Second Level Address Translation (SLAT)
-4GB system RAM at minimum
-BIOS-level Hardware Virtualization support
Step By Step
1. From Start Screen run Programs and features
2. On the left side, click Turn Windows features on or off
3. From the Windows features window select Hyper-V
4. Click OK on the Windows features window
5. Click Restart now
6. After the PC restart, run Hyper-V manager from the start screen
